About

I am passionate about special education advocacy because of my background advocating for my disabled son, now 17. He has very high support needs, and I pushed hard to get him the placement, services, and modifications he requires to access his education, all while maintaining the parent-school relationship. My style is decisive, calm, and solutions-focused.

I received certifications after completing the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates and the ARC@School advocacy programs.

My prior positions include editing and managing complex projects for major corporations, and program management for a Seattle non-profit. I love to write, organize, and shepherd complex projects to completion.

My mission is to be the advocate I would have wanted at the start of my son's journey in special education.
